The Blue Lagoon
Iceland's signature natural attraction is the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa.
The photos can barely do this place justice.
The water actually holds the light so well that the glow is REAL. It's milk-blue against black volcanic rock and warm enough to sit in while it snows around you — runoff from a geothermal plant next door, mineral-rich and silica-white.
There isn't another place quite like it and that's why Iceland is famous for it. If you're one for a bit of magic, don't miss.
