About
Cardinal Atlas is a cultural atlas of everywhere — 195 countries seen through 38 ways of seeing, one definitive entry each.
It started from a simple frustration: you can travel a place, eat its food, love its music, and still miss the one thing that actually defines it. The dish locals make at home. The animal that lives there and nowhere else. The word the language has that English never bothered to invent.
So we built the atlas we wanted — the whole world, told once each, and told by someone who actually knows. No fanfare, no “coming soon”. Pull up any country and read it end to end, or pick a single lens and follow it across the planet.
Get it weekly
One country, told properly, every week — plus first sight of every new way of seeing we add. Start anywhere from the atlas, or read the method.
